SOUL SEARCHING

We need some real soul searching to do after a heartbreaking loss this week against a depleted HICC squad. This one is hard to digest, i am not sure what really went wrong. I saw my guys giving whatever they had on the field but still we could not come up with a W. Dharmender Patel, i am sure a lot of people have heard this name. I really did not think much of him at first mainly because i did not know what kind of a player he is. He just single handedly took the game away from us. Some of the shots he played were amazing, he was improvising and he was feeling it. Monu also played a great innings for his hundred. With Ankit and Neeraj's departure, this kid is rising to the ocassion and taking full advantage of the opportunity.
    We are batting well for the last 2 games but we are not able to defend decent totals. We will keep working on our weaknesses and come out strong in the next game. This is a team game and eleven players need to play as a unit to win against any opponent. With 3 losses against 1 win, i think we can only move in the positive direction from here on out.
    Our next opponent is MCC and they have been playing really well under the leadership of uncle Rafey. I defintely will have a game plan ready against their team.
