THE GREAT CHASE

The team performance this week reiterated my belief that all it takes is a bunch of committed players who believe in themselves to win a game. Kudos to the team for pulling off this victory. Chasing 285 against any opposition is an achievement every one of us should be proud of. It is very hard to point out a single performance in this chase as outstanding. Amir Ali Sr and Shashank played two very crucial knocks at the start of the inning. Barkat has proved once more that he is an asset to the team when it comes to clinically chasing down targets. Bari and Javed, personifications of team spirit and gamesmanship, their never say die attitude and self belief is an asset to this team. My hats off to both of them for their timely contributions today. It was an excellent performance from Saad; he has been the revelation of the season so far. Every one of us in the team believed that this boy can bat, the question always was about his consistency. Well he is yet to be dismissed this season, I don’t think we could ask for more. Last but not the least Shashank a good job leading the team in my absence. I am honored to lead a team like HCSC II this season. Good job guys. Let’s keep up the good work.
